Bringing back a cicada (?) to its nest. Insect observation is here:
He offered this beautiful caterpillar to the female who then dropped it.
It picked a small green larva (caterpillar, most likely) from the tree bark and flew off.
Through binoculars. Thrashing around a caterpillar and singing.
Seen eating a green caterpillar.
Two chicks have hatched on day twelve! The male flew in and gave her what I believe is either a caterpillar or a bee, and she proceeded to crush it up and feed it to the chicks. I also believe there are only two eggs in the nest due to the small size of the top of our lamp. I would stick my camera up there on a pole to see but I don't want to scare off the parents.

Beak full of caterpillars, probably heading back to the nest.

On photo 4: Difficult to capture that toss that a lot of birds seem to do before gulping their food. Check out the bottom right where another insect felt it was in its best interest to fly away.
On photo 5: making sure it went down the gullet.
