Lysmata vittata sensu stricto. Native to the temperate/subtropical Indo-West Pacific and introduced in the US and New Zealand. Distinct from the junior synonym L. rauli, native to subtropical/tropical Indo-West Pacific and introduced to Brazil, Panama, and the Mediterranean.

This is a Checkered Sculpin, an as yet to be described species of the Slimy Sculpin complex.
