Attended the April meeting of the Milam County Historical Society at the Milano Community Center, formerly a two-room schoolhouse. An awesome building, especially since my mother went to school there before her family moved to Rockdale. The lawn area was also awesome, full of blooming plants. Walked about the lawn area after the meeting and enjoyed all the cool things I observed.

A stop on way home from Rockdale to investigate some flowers on the roadside. As I continued on, noticed folks out mowing the highway ROW in front of their houses. So much for the spring wildflowers.
A rainy day for the flowers. In the lawn area near the herbarium entrance.
Did a little iNat-ing before the Brazos Valley TMN chapter meeting in the area across the road from the Brazos County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Building.
