unfortunately the sequence says we now have 2 different species that conform to the name P. hispidolacteus. This is on old Rhipogonum scandens, and so was the type collection.
note the 2nd photo shows the over-hang of the cap over the gills, which separates this from an undescribed look-alike
Single with manuka / kanuka and regrowth. Did see another very similar further down the track.
Slightly pinkish gills, not sure if the colour shows up.
Indigenous to New Zealand, found in the 1960s they are Psychoactive and contain Psilocybin, Psilocin, Beaocystin. Potency is unknown for sure but thought to be weak!
