At lunch today, I went by the MISD Center for the Performing Arts and explored this little field.
This appears to be a green lynx spider and it's future offspring.
This spider is about an inch long, including legs. It was at the water's edge but when I splashed up, it scuttled away from the water into the foliage.
A 1.5 to 2 inch brownish grasshopper with a cream colored dorsal stripe.
Less than an inch long. I think it's a nymph because i don't see wings.
1 inch green grasshopper with a brown pattern on its wings. In mowed grass in a small clearing in the woods. Remarkably approachable for a grasshopper.
This 1 inch grasshopper almost has chameleon eyes! On a Solanum next to an informal parking lot.
On an El Camino Real TMN (socially distanced) excursion to iNat while investigating the physical status of the ECR wildscape and surrounding public area at the Milano Junction Memorial Garden with Catherine and Eric.
Eric shared another grasshopper observation with me. I did not take any other usable photos because I had a camera in one hand and another grasshopper in the other hand biting the heck out of my finger.

Caught this grasshopper by hand but before I could share it with Eric it hopped off and left me with one of his hind legs.
On an El Camino Real TMN (socially distanced) excursion to the historical marker at the former site of Nashville, first capital of Robertson County. This is the location of the first historical marker seen when entering Milam County from the east on Hwy 79.
Fellow ECR TMN @eaneubauer and grasshopper expert shared his catches and ID's with me. I promptly forgot the ID's. :-/ But I do know it is a nymph.
