Under bark of london plane (Platanus × hispanica) tree.
Found under willow log in uncleared forest in Kaiapoi since at least 1941
Very tiny that we only saw it from the camera when we were taking photos of a fungi. And then 80% of the time our camera lost it. ~1mm I think?
I do not know anything about it. Very little information online. Thanks to computer vision this is my best guess

A large number of these were observed last night, with this being the largest, measuring around 5mm. Seen on a decaying log.
It was a wet and humid night.
