This species is quite common in this area
Galveston Island State Park, Galveston County Texas
I'm pretty sure this is a Sedge Wren because it just looks different from the Marsh Wren's I've seen a bunch out West. Also, it has a streaky crown and a short bill and the less bold eye-stripe which are all Sedge Wren characters. Compare to this marsh wren I saw nearby for comparison.
If it is a Sedge Wren it would be a life bird for me. Confirmation would be much appreciated!
