Presumably Peripatoides 'Dunedin'. Found under log on track through old-growth podocarp forest. Approximately 2 cm long.
On a damp clay bank at night. 3 or 4 seen. Biggest about 45mm, smallest 20mm.

Found under schist slab in creek gorge/gully within tussock grassland. Presumably Peripatoides sp. 'Dunedin'. Possibly a remnant population from when the area was forest and/or shrubland in the past. Only a single individual found.

My best count is 16 pairs of legs? (see photo 5). Larger individual was 4-5 cm.
Found ~4 individuals while digging out weeds in soil/mulch.

this may be a unique "Dunedin" subspecies
Ngāokeoke (unsure of exact spp.). Extremely high density (ca. 30 individuals within 20cm^3). Found under bracken fern adjacent to seepage during wetland planting. Bracken was left in situ due to presence.
