Found in the backyard in the dirt, not from the same colony as those found in the compost bin
7 photos including dorsal and ventral perspective, as well as side, legs and close up to mouthpart
It was not captured, and was allowed to remain living, so was moving while photos were obtained.
It looks like a very tiny isopod. It’s 1mm long.
I took a small piece of liverwort growing “wild” in a greenhouse with me for microscopy and later noticed this moving in the sample I took.
