Small in size, green, with brown spotings, Found in suburban area. Warm and humid temperature late at night. Temperature 85 degrees Fahrenheit. This toad is found in central America to the southern states. The cane toad is now considered an invasive species in many regions because its toxic skin kills many animals. I'm totally guessing at this ID. These tiny swimmers looked like tadpoles or minnows--or maybe something else ... ?? Thanks for any help.
