Organism on the left. In a plankton tow off Pier 60, Seattle.
Round, spiky shape. Seems to be remains of a shell during meiosis.
Sitting on east floater of Orcas island ferry dock.
Found dead in the eelgrass, high up on the beach. I saw it and thought it was a piece of lost fishing tackle.
Photographed in my home, but I have marked the location where I found them.

Water sample collected from the San Pedro River, Meoqui, Chihuahua, at the indicated location. The sample was collected on January 5th, 2022, at 10:58.
The images were acquired the same day.
To me these look like some form of aquatic critter egg.
A small mass of 10 or so.
Just under 40 µ diameter.
A cyanobacteria is coming for a look in the first image.
