Banded Sphinx (Eumorpha fasciata) at Plainsboro Preserve. This is a southern species that is known to wander north on occasion. I don't know if this individual has anything to do with the passage of Tropical Storm Hanna the day before.

Unfortunately, this is the best shot I could get of the many White Spring Moths in the area. Once they landed, they inevitably scrambled to the underside of the leaf they landed on. Probably not identifiable from this view.

I think this is either Chocolate Prominent or Bordelon's Prominent (Peridea ferruginea vs. P. bordeloni). Not sure if the ID can be made from this photo, but Hugh McGuinness identified a similar moth from the same site as P. bordeloni:
