I study planthopper systematics and am in charge of a small institutional insect research collection (where I teach entomology). I focus on the Delphacidae, especially of the New World, but have recently also worked on Cixiidae, Derbidae, and Issidae. I am interested in supplementing my specimen-based research with observations based on images of living organisms.
