I am currently President and a foray leader of the Pikes Peak Mycological Society. I have been studying mushrooms in Colorado since 2004. Our local mushroom season in Colorado is typically from April - October depending on the weather and moisture. I enjoy helping people learn about our local fungi. I also love cooking and mushrooms are no exception. That is one of several reasons I became so interested in Mycology.

I am currently on a mission to study and identify all of the Agaricus in Colorado. There are many unknowns.
