I'm a 22 year-old hobbyist wildlife photographer from Ireland who loves to take photographs of the natural world around me.
I graduated in 2023 from University College Cork with a degree in zoology and I'm now working full-time as an ornithologist.

Birds are my main focus when it comes to photography and iNaturalist but I am also interested in insects, particularly butterflies and moths, and am very open to learning about all taxa. I primarily focus on Irish wildlife, although I am broadening my knowledge on the wider continental European avifauna.

From August 2023 onwards, I use the Canon R7 for photography, usually paired with the RF 800mm F11 IS STM lens. I also have the RF 100-400mm F5.6-8 IS USM lens. Photographs taken before then were with the Sony Cyber-shot HX350. I sometimes use my phone to take photos, and all sound recordings are taken with my phone.
