I am a student studying zooarchaeology (the archaeology of animal bones). I have six years of research experience identifying animals to species, or higher taxonomic levels (depending on the condition of the bones). My favourite bones to ID are fish, so if you have any observations of fish bones that you think could be better ID'd, feel free to tag me in them and I'll take a look (please be patient though because I have a bit of a backlog at the moment). Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in learning more about the identification of animals based on their osteology, or about zooarchaeology as a field!

Note: A couple of the sites I have previously used for references on my identifications have gone down or been redone and broken my links- I apologize for this inconvenience, let me know if your obs has been affected and I can try to replace the reference.
