I am a botanist for a Federal agency in north Idaho and have been doing this botany thing for about 32 years. Through work or play I have been chasing plants in much of the country, but my expertise is in the northern Rocky Mountains, primarily north Idaho. I'm active with the Idaho Native Plant Society and have taught plant taxonomy labs at the University of Idaho, of which I'm an alumni.
