Zoology Professor at San Diego State University. I'm a systematist - I work to understand the diversity and history of life on Earth. Most of my research involves arachnids, including spiders and harvesters.

I'm fascinated by all biodiversity, and try every day to inspire the same fascination in my college-level students. One of my hobbies is photography.
