Biologist from Guatemala, I've worked in various botany related projects. From flora characterization in different localities, a morphometric study of the cacao varieties cultivated in the northern region, and the medicinal plants used by q'eqchi mayan doctors. I have particular interest in plant ecology and interactions, like epiphytes (Bromeliads and Orchids), parasites and pollinators. Also in ethnobotany and the use of the Guatemalan flora by the mayan culture.
