I am a physicist by day but love looking at nature in my downtime. I was alerted to iNaturalist after a few years of using the Atlas of Living Australia project - it is a much more convenient interface for uploading observations.
I like chasing fungi in the winter as well as interesting plants, birds, animals and occasionally insects, & lichens at any time of year.

Due to the wide range of taxa my IDs are more reliable in some areas than others, but I find contributing to iNaturalist a fun way to improve my IDing skills.
