A Texas Master Naturalist who organizes interpretive events in San Antonio, Texas Natural Areas and currently volunteers at the Demonstration Garden in Phil Hardberger Park. I swore I would never get into plant identification work but learning about our local plants became addictive. I am focusing on characteristics to differentiate species. Learning so much about variability in characteristics and plethora of similar species which makes ID work challenging.
