Sixteen y/o aspiring scientist, teacher, and photographer located in Morgantown, WV. Though I have a love and respect for all aspects of nature, I specialize in butterflies and moths, in particular Limacodidae and related families (Zygaenoidea). I am lead author of a field guide to slug moths and regularly give lectures and presentations on such in my home state of WV. I even had the amazing opportunity to be featured in the March 2022 edition of Wonderful West Virginia, one of the state's leading magazines. I use Nikon D3500 and D50 equipment for all of my photography.

If you could use some help with any North American butterfly/moth-related observations, please feel free to tag me! I cannot guarantee an accurate species identification 100% of the time (I am not an expert) but will certainly do my best to point you in the right direction or tag someone else who can make that species ID.

To God be the glory, great things He has done!

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." - Job 12:7-10
