It has been fun watching you learn

Students,

It has been a joy watching you learn about the wildlife around you. Over the last few months, I have seen many of you become more knowledgeable about the trees and animals you encounter each day. In class most of you can now call organisms by their common names, identify the scientific names of organisms with the help of iNaturalist, and recognize species previously unknown to you. You have made me a proud teacher. I hope that you enjoy your summer 7th graders . . . or should I say rising 8th graders? The last day to submit observations is May 19, 2021, for course credit. I will leave the bio blitz open indefinitely for those of you who want to continue your studies of nature.
