I'm Tanya St. Pierre, Planting for Pollinators Project Manager. I am passionate about all wildlife, and especially pollinators. My key interest is bumblebees with a focus on recording Bombus monticola - the bilberry or mountain bumblebee. As a keen rockclimber and hillwalker it's great to see them flying on many of the heather clad fells of Cumbria. I believe that they are a much under recorded species, so would encourage everyone to look out for them when out walking in the Lakes.
