The towhee is here!

I didn't see him in person, but my trail cam did. I've never seen an eastern towhee (I still call them rufous-sided towhees) in my yard in Kentucky before April. It's always been a sign of spring for me -- first the male and then about five days later, a female. Like clockwork. But it was Feb. 6 when this one made an appearance. Two days after I saw the first crocuses blooming. Was Punxsutawney Phil wrong? Is spring going to be earlier this year? Or have I just never noticed the towhees until later? I have to keep my eyes open for a female.
