I am a former entomophobe, but came to love them by way of learning - first by reading Parasite Rex and For Love of Insects, then by photographing them. This year I'm trying to become more familiar with "proper" wasp identification - Heather Holm's guide to Eastern North American Wasps has been a huge inspiration for me. Hoping I can do my part to support the iNaturalist community!
