I am a plant specialist for Wisconsin Wetland Specialists. We do wetland boundary delineations, help develop wetland mitigation banks (projects that restore wetlands to land that was previously drained), do rare plant surveys, and Karner Blue butterfly surveys. I do all the plant identification and develop the seed mixes used in our wetland restoration projects.

I also volunteer for the Wisconsin Natural Heritage Inventory doing surveys of rare plants and animals in Wisconsin.

I am currently involved in two iNaturalist projects: the Wisconsin Rare Plant Monitoring Program and the Carex cumulata Database.
