Hi, I'm Elizabeth! I live in Marin County, California. I'm a generalist, curious about whatever I see on the trail. Right now, I'm working on hiking all the trails on Mt. Tamalpais, and I post what I see there as well as what I see on other hikes in Marin County and on my travels.

I'm focused mostly on plants and birds, but love it when a mammal crosses my path....

I'm re-learning plant identification (I did study a little botany and horticulture many moons ago). While I can generally a good number of plants at genus level, my species specific knowledge is non-existent, but thanks to iNaturalist, I'm learning!
