We are now a Collection Project
Hello friends, when I created this project iNaturalist only had what they termed "Traditional Projects." Traditional Projects required that the admin interact with observers and manually add observations to the project. This has come to be a daunting task so after much thought I've decided to convert Birds of Hilton Head Island to a Collection Project. The most noticeable difference for folks who are already members will be that there are now many thousands more observations and many more contributors now that the inclusion of observations is geographically-based. - Best wishes and happy birding on Hilton Head Island!
