Fishing Catches of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast

Recreational shore fishing represents a unique and often underappreciated opportunity to learn more about the marine biodiversity of ecosystems often out of reach beneath the waves. The Glamorgan Heritage Coast is an excellent location widely known for its unique coastal habitats and fantastic recreational fishing opportunities. This project aims to collect data on the catches of all submitted by recreational anglers operating in or visiting the Heritage Coast which stretches from Aberthaw to the Ogmore Estuary, including but not limited to Llantwit Beach, Nash Point, Monknash and Ogmore Deeps with the ultimate goal being to gain insight into which species are utilising the various marine habitats and their relative abundances. vähemmän ↑
