Happy New Year!
This year 36 keen-eyed people living on or visiting Salt Spring Island observed over a thousand fungi and identified 150 distinct species. Well done, all, and here's to another wonderful year of forests and fungi. May we always notice the small lovely things in their hidden places. Keep looking down!
