Cap is fluffy and sort of spongy, stipe woody. No obvious scent. Growing off oak stick. Maybe a secotioid Lentinus?

Abundant in area on cypress. wetland area right off 557. Flesh soft. pilepellis dry. Stipipellis dry and reddish in some sections. only seen on cypress, and seen multiple times on that date.

Maybe G. penetrans? Growing on fallen pine trunk. Rusty orange spore print. Orange cap, gills, and orange-yellow stalk. Gills attached. Did not notice any scaliness on cap.

Growing amid pine needles.
