Boas are carnivorous snakes, and feed primarily on small mammals, birds, and other reptiles.
They use their powerful muscles to constrict their prey and kill it before swallowing it whole.
Boas are also known to be excellent swimmers and climbers, and some species even have the ability to glide through the air for short distances.

Micrurus albicintus has a record in the Colombian Amazon (see distribution map in Nogueira et al. 2019) and this specimen is morphologically consistent with the species including the number of black rings, according to Roze (1996) males have between 67 and 90, the one in the photos has 72 black rings. PS: Similar coral snakes can be ruled out by the number of black rings, as in the case of M. anellatus which males only have between 34 and 61 black rings (Roze. 1996) and M. medemi which can have around 40 black rings (https:// www .inaturalist.org/observations/115296595) when the red rings are melanized.
