Edit: I recently captured the large female pictured here and is currently a whopping 188mm long from what I know is a very very large great crested newt. (This edit was made in 3rd of April 2024)

Healthy Population in Epping forest (south) a recently discovered population (2020). 2 females, 3 males 2 juvs.

About 25-30 frogs and 9-12 clumps of spawn. most frogs in the pond are male. Two frogs in amplexus with another pair in the pond.
