Description: Crawling, annual herb. Inflorescences with white petal-like ligules around a head of many small yellow flowers, subtended by bract covered receptacle. Flowers and leaves aromatic when rubbed or crushed, sweet and apple-like. Leaves distinctly dissected/compound.
Habitat: Growing in shady moist margins along paths. Uncommon, yet resilient and spreading.

Description: An annual herb from a taproot; with liguliflorous yellow head; pappus simple and smooth bristles; milky sap; and strongly mid-veined leaves that are lance plate and sometimes dentate.
Habitat: Growing in disturbed sunny areas along other weedy herbs and next to trees (one at the base of a 100 yo Gingko), it is fairly uncommon to do human removal.
