This tree had many (though not all) doubled acorns
Rare white flowered mutation
found growing in a disturbed, cattle grazed area on the meadow pond trail @ pleasanton ridge regional park
2 Hollyleaf Cherry trees growing on the top of this hill in McKinley Park in downtown Pleasanton. Both are flowering and fruiting. I’m not able to tell if this was planted or is growing wild, because it’s not really found anywhere else in this area. Lots of seedlings are present under the tree and they show the spiny leaves, so this is pure Hollyleaf cherry, no hybridization with Catalina cherry
