Found dead in front of an apartment building. Sad
Found lying in road. Not completely dead yet but missing a few tarsi. Keeping in quiet place until dark to see if it would fly and get another chance to mate.

The fruiting bodies of Turkey Tail typically range in size from small to medium, featuring delicate caps that exhibit a delightful array of shades and tints.
An incidental sighting while walking. Woodpecker was pecking tree in search of food.
Apparently the first winter record for Ontario, and one of a handful of winter records for NE North America. https://ebird.org/checklist/S156307222
