Nine Great Blue Herons gathered in shallow water as the tide came in after a minus tide. They were easily catching eel-like fish that I think are Apodichthys flavidus (Penpoint Gunnel). Next photos show closeups of TWO fish in its beak, and the poor fish writhing and squirming to escape.
