Found on the shore of Lake Eva.
Snorkeling looking for emerging sockeye and found an empty shell and later an live individual. In silt muck with gravel bottom somewhere underneath. Lots of 3 spine Stickleback, and one nice cutthroat trout observed. Beaver in pond as well.

Found in the main drain canal of staten. Not certain of id could be Anodonta nuttalliana.
Basing my ID of of images, habitat descriptions, and ranges in http://www.xerces.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/pnw_mussel_guide_2nd_edition.pdf. These were common in this one deep, sandy-bottomed pool.
