Growing on the trunk of a fallen Kanuka.
Aprox. 100mm wide, fluted shape.
White gills decurrent but not extending right down the stem- hard to tell how much is bug damage?
White spore print.
Slightly "fresh" smell? Almost a hint of cucumber mixed with the mushroomy smell.
Quite firm, a little hard to break and no jelly-like layer easily noted.. so presuming not Hohenbuehelia? Tentative guess Pleurotus?
