Hybrid/s as a result of breeding between a lone White-cheeked Honeyeater (vagrant to our area) with local New Holland Honeyeaters in 2016 at Jerrabomberra Wetlands has been well documented, and is discussed in detail in Canberra Bird Notes 41(3) (2016): pages 206-217, available at http://canberrabirds.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/CBN-41-3-23-Jan.pdf info from CNM.
