These "surfers" probably explained the absence of the Greater Scaup from the same area. I walked to the southwestern side of the lake to along the entire northern sidewalk. I left at 1634 and walked into the former Old Belcher Mines Park. I returned to the park at 1703; these sightings are listed separately.
