Small bee/wasp visiting flowers in the dryland scrub.
At the white night lights set up to attract moths. Rainforest Patch.
11mm long.
Large wasp, at least 3cm long, sitting on acacia leaves during a shower of rain. Half a dozen of them at this location but only photographed this one.
Paralysed and dragged back to a burrow to be parasitised by this Crabronid wasp, Tachysphex. I think the cockroach is and undescribed genus.
Last observation was Nov 18th 2022
Looking for sp. Poor quality photo but only one I could get, very jittery movement.
On Chard - Beta vulgaris flowers.
