Found on a sunny morning growing on a living western red cedar above sword ferns.
Tapered brown woody squamulous podetia typically culminating in split points. Fragile light green lobed squamules line the podetia. Thallus roughly 50x30 mm. Thallus UV- and strongly K+Y indicating var. subsquamosa.
