Ultimate Fighting Pedunculate Ground Beetle (Pasimachus sp.), Goodhue County, Minnesota
Snapped at my finger when I got close. Eating a June beetle
On the plant there was a lot of the soapberry bugs. Some were attached to each other and some were on their own. The bugs are Black and also pinkish. They were fairly the size of a small beetle
The beetle was found on the sidewalk on the University of South Florida. It seemed to have just crawled out of the bushes before the picture was taken. It is about two inched long with an all black body. It had two red dots on the side of it head. It was hard to find the classification for this beetle but it can be put into the Jadera genes.
Beetle was by itself with no similar ones near it, came out of the underside of a rock and crawled onto the asphalt
