Joey with two broken legs following collision with vehicle. Euthanized by local police. This kangaroo/vehicle collision hotspot continues to average 1 death per month.

Observation; The morning frost kept the mob off the white grass and numbers were in the surrounding bushes.
Photo taken at observation site Merricks North April 2017. Needs verification, when I last worked there several years ago there was a mob of 20 to 30. Drive to end of Melalueca Court public access, at gate end of road is top of hill, kangaroos should be visible either nearby sheltering in trees or down hill in open. Peter Demaio owns property.
