A Yellow Rail hit a building in Toronto during fall migration and stayed for the winter at a rescue to recuperate. It was released on this date at a suitable location along Wylie Rd in Carden. The last three photos are captures from a video taken during its release
This adult female flew into our window. After about 2 hours of recovery, she flew away.
