It seems there was an abundance of box turtles this summer as I have pulled over no less than six times to remove them from the middle of roadways before meeting their demise. This particular pair were in my yard and had been eating tomatoes I had thrown out previously. My cat actually discovered and drew my attention to them.
Most of the swans in the region today seemed to be TUSW, but this pair present here seems to be the usual pair seen at this pond through the summer.
