If you're looking for something fun to do related to iNaturalist on Canada Day 2017 - why not join the "Canada 150 - Canada Day Biodiversity Challenge"?

This project is a celebration of Canada's biodiversity and a collective effort to try and record as many of Canada's wild species as we can on Canada Day 2017! To mark the 150th birthday of Canada, the individual challenge is to observe and submit at least 150 observations of different wild species within the boundaries of Canada on July 1, 2017.

Spread the news and let's try and get as many people involved as possible!

There are two ways to associate your iNaturalist observations made on Canada Day to this project. One way is to associate every single record to this project when you upload it (whether using your smartphone or desktop computer). There is, however, another quicker way to so so. It is a 5-step process but it allows you to bulk upload any and all observations made on Canada Day quickly and easily.

Since the iNaturalist journal posts can't include graphics, Mike Burrell has gladly offered to host the instructions on his blog - the Nomadic Naturalist.
