My favorite photos that I have taken back in the year 2017, the year I began to take my nature photography more seriously during an expedition that led across the Rocky Mountain range.

I took a BUNCH of photos during the year of 2019, and want to showcase some of my favorite shots from that year. So, I will be working to bring the best of 2019 Journal entry for you to enjoy!

Some highlights from my observation trip to the San Xavier Desert. Was able to go further out and see what else there is to see. I’m planning to go back tomorrow and go farther, however I’m unsure if I will be able to tomorrow. If not, some time this week. Unfortunately, no sign of the Merlin I saw not that long ago.

Here are some highlights from my Christmas observation trip to Center Mountain. All of the photos were taken with my new “Canon EOS Rebel T6.” Tomorrow, I will be heading back out to the San Xavier Desert, in hopes to run into the Merlin I saw recently.

On August 15th, 2018, i had went on a solo trip to the Santa Cruz River, to record the variety of flora and fauna that you can see there. However, around the end of my trip, I decided to visit the Mesquite Circle Ponds. These ponds were created by the "Paseo de las Iglesias" environmental restoration project, in order to help native frog species reproduce during the monsoon season. However, while there, I discovered that American Bullfrogs had started to make home in these ponds, which could be damaging to the native frogs.
I have recently written to one of the workers of the projects, and hope to hear from him soon. I'll update my journal as soon as I get more information on the situation.

Here are some of the best pictures I took on July 2018. Saw a lot of new species, and got some really good photos this month.

Back in Barrio Nopal. Just for today, heading back to Maricopa County soon. Here are some observations I added.

Yesterday, I got the opportunity to see a Green Heron for the first time! It was honestly an amazing day. The heron was smaller than I expected, but nonetheless, it was still beautiful. I love how their coloration sorta blends together, while still managing to stand out. I definitely hope to see this bird again!
